Dotted

Last night I was frustrated at the fact that I hadn’t done my nails for weeks. WEEKS! How is it possible with all the nail polish I own and all the nothing that I do that I haven’t done my nails for weeks. Who knows? The lethargy is taking over my life.

But last night, staring at the polishes haphazardly peeking through the clutter strew across my center table, I decided it had been long enough and I cannot go on another day like this. So I picked up 6 bottles (5 of which are new) and started painting. I didn’t do anything fancy but it came out kinda nice.

The object I am holding this week is the other wind-up owl on my desk. It is part of the same Nathan J collection. Separately they are can be boring but together they are a hoot. HA!

Base –  L.A. Girl Nail Strengthener

Maroon – Julep “Aisha”

Cream – Julep “Alexandra”

Black dots – Nubar G715 “Black Polka Dot” – this is kind of weird to apply. You do have to put on more than 1 coat and it will never look the same on every finger. But when done right you get a good balance of big and small dots.

White Dots – Nubar G714 “White Polka Dot” – This isn’t really white this is more pearly/silvery big “dots” with tiny iridescent sparkles.

Top Coat – Nubar T309 “Diamont Seal and Shine”
