Not Again

I was going to try and write a Valentines’s Day post but time ran out and I never finished. Plus I wasn’t sure where I was going when I started:

It is here again. That day that single people despise, husbands forget, and lovers indulge. I am pessimistic about love most of the year but the week leading up to and including Valentine’s day I am down right cynical. All those ads about buying that special someone jewelery, chocolates, or a new car to show them just how much you care. Ugh! It makes me ill. There is a whole lot of pish-ahs and eye-rolling involved.

I don’t partake in the (fake) holiday. I do enjoy the chocolates but I do pretty much everyday anyways except around this time of year they are all heart shaped. I tend to ignore it as much as possible but as an avid tv watcher it is hard to avoid. Lots of the sitcoms, dramas, and even the news have something to do with the day.

The usual ramble for a single person on a day like today. So instead you are going to get a random selection of songs for the single person. Some old some new all awesome.
